You will then run along the North bank where there will be fantastic river views\, before crossing the Thames via Southwark bridge. \nThe route will then take you along the Thames path past Shakespeare’s Globe and then heading towards Tate Modern\, where you will cross the river once again\, this time over the millenium bridge.  You will be able to enjoy breathtaking views of the beautifully lit St Paul’s Cathedral\, before finally returning to Paternoster Square\, completing a truly iconic route! \nNo previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 4.5km\, relatively flat and you can run\, jog or walk. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit! \n  \nPlease note that you will need to collect your Santa Suit on the day from 8.30 am from our collection point\, Paternoster Square\, City of London.

DESCRIPTION:Former Leeds Rhinos player Rob Burrow was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in December 2019. Since then\, Rob and his family have campaigned tirelessly to raise awareness and funds to support other families living with MND. \nThe Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will see 7\,777 participants take on a brand new route through Leeds that starts and finishes at Headingley Stadium. Taking in some of Leeds’ most scenic countryside and outer suburbs\, the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon will be a fitting tribute to the city that launched Rob’s career and which he calls home. \nThis is an event that truly is for everyone\, so whether you are an experienced runner or have never thought about running an event before\, you are welcome to take part in 2024. \nWe are asking you to take part and raise vital funds to support teenagers and young adults living with cancer.

The half marathon starts and finishes inside historical Hampton Court Palace. This epic event allows you not only to run a half marathon for charity\, but it also gives you entry into one of the UK’s best historical attractions. \nThe race is very proud of its famous medals for finishers. Run like Henry VIII and make your own history at this fantastic event.

DESCRIPTION:The Feather Ball has become a highlight on the social calendar\, drawing increasing support each year.  This event is crucial for raising much-needed funds to sustain our projects and for raising awareness among our guests and the media. DESCRIPTION:It will begin\, in Paternoster Square just by the majestic St Paul’s Cathedral. You will run down to the Thames Path and then along the North Embankment\, enjoying the world-famous views of the Globe Theatre\, The Shard\, and the Millenium Bridge. \nYou will then pass through the City of London\, running along the Thames’s hidden paths\, towards the Tower of London and Tower Bridge. \nYou will then return through the City\, via Cannon Street. and finally take in the views of the beautifully lit St Paul’s Cathedral\, before turning into Paternoster Square\, completing a truly iconic route! \nNo previous experience is needed for a run like this. The route is 3.5km\, relatively flat and you can run\, jog or walk. Santa in the City is a great way to get you into the festive spirit. \nEvent start time is 7pm and all participants will receive their own Santa suit and a finishers medal.

DESCRIPTION:The Scarecrow Trail Returns for Its Second Year! \nAfter two weeks of thrilling Olympic action and the Paralympics just around the corner\, what better way to celebrate than with a Scarecrow Trail inspired by our incredible athletes and favourite sports? \nWe’re inviting EVERYONE in the village to take part in this fun-filled event! Whether you’re an individual\, a family\, a business\, or a member of a sports or social club\, we want you to join in. The more\, the merrier! \nTo participate\, simply create a scarecrow and display it outside your home or business in West Bergholt. The entry fee is £5.00 per scarecrow\, which includes a spot on our official trail map. If you want extreme\, if you want extraordinary\, there’s no better thrill.
