SINGING waiters surprised guests and sang the night away to help youngsters fight cancer.

Guests enjoyed rum punch, dancing and dinner before having the chance to try their luck at the casino tables.

More than 250 people dressed up in their finest for the event, with an estimated £32,000 raised for the charity.

Founder and CEO Nikki Bowdidge said: “It was an amazing night, as always, and we really enjoyed planning this one.

“People had no idea about the theme because we keep it a secret, so to be greeted by musicians playing steel pans was a real treat.

“And, of course, the singing waiters were fantastic. No one had a clue about them so when they turned up half way through the meal people thought there had been a mistake.

“The whole evening was brilliant. This has always been the standout event on our calendar and to see it so well supported is wonderful. We’d like to thank everyone who came along for such a wonderful evening.”

An auction, with lots including flights to New York and a week in Morzine, and raffle were also run throughout the night.
