This year marks our 10-year Anniversary celebrations, and the second year of the West Bergholt’s first Scarecrow Trail. We are inviting EVERYONE to make a scarecrow for the trail around the village. So, we are looking for individuals, families, businesses, sports and social clubs to join in with the fun. The more the merrier!

The scarecrow needs to be displayed outside a house or business in West Bergholt.

Entry fees are £5.00 per scarecrow, and this will get you a place on the map. Each entry will be put into the public vote to decide which scarecrow wins ‘Best in Show’ and a prize.

As this is to mark The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation’s 10^th anniversary and Tom loved films, we have decided to stick with ’10 years of Movies’ as the theme.

Closing date for entries will be Monday 7th October.

Scarecrows will be displayed from Monday 14^th October until Sunday 3rd November.

Trail maps and voting forms are £2 and will be available from 9 Firmins Court or can be bought online after 14th October.

All proceeds will go to The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation, providing support to teenagers and young adults with cancer.
