Nikki and Richard receive their MBEs

Nikki and Richard recently travelled to Windsor Castle alongside family members to receive their MBEs from Her Royal Highness, The Princess Royal.  The ceremony took place in the castle’s Garter Throne Room.

Nikki and Richard said it was a very special occasion, and you were made to feel very special by every member of staff.

Princess Anne was very interested in the Foundation’s work and keen to know how they identified a gap in teenage cancer services.

Nikki said “we are very humbled to have been honoured in this way but the truth of it is that we are nothing without our wonderful friends, family, supporters and donors. This award is for everyone who has made The Tom Bowdidge Youth Cancer Foundation what it is today.”
