Premjeet’s Story

Premjeet was diagnosed with a brain tumour when he was 17. He wanted to re-sit his GCSE’s when feeling well enough, to enable him to start college the following September. Sadly, he didn’t have a laptop so couldn’t continue his studies. 

We were able to purchase a laptop, and this enabled him to pick up his studying and start revising for his exams whilst going through treatment and recovery. 

These days it is hard to imagine a 17-year-old without a mobile phone, but this is how Premjeet found himself and was having to use his Mum’s. This really made him feel even more isolated from the outside world. We were also able to purchase a phone for him and this has allowed him to re-connect with friends and give him support with his studies.
